SINUS for Primary Schools

Primary school teachers develop their teaching skills in mathematics and science in the »SINUS for Primary Schools« programme. Eleven federal states in Germany are jointly carrying out the programme; another four are participating as associate members.
The teachers of the Quentin Blake Europe School are using the SINUS concept to instruct mathematics and science. This means that they reappraise their lessons with regard to certain typical problem areas. Once they have identified one of these problems as being especially acute at their school, they begin to work on this problem and to tailor their lessons through further development as a team and with the IPN.
